What's New in 1.6.9 Version

Version 1.6.9 of MChat introduces a new feature and some several improvements to enhance your experience:

New Feature​

  • Message Preview for Follow-up Notification: Patients can now preview the message content from the hospital directly in the notification. Instead of receiving only a link to re-access the chat, the notification will include a preview of the hospital's message (max 50 characters), giving patients immediate context before opening the chat.

Messages Preview

  • Naver Talk Manager Echo Support: MChat now supports echo messages from Naver Talk Manager. When hospital staff send messages through the Naver Talk Manager interface, those messages will be reflected and displayed in the corresponding MChat chat session, ensuring full conversation visibility across both platforms.

Improvements​

  1. Immediate Follow-up Notifications: Starting from this version, all follow-up notifications are sent immediately when triggered, removing the 2-minute batching delay.

  2. Auto-Reopen Chat Status: When a chat session's status is "Completed", if the patient sends a new message within the same chat session, the status will automatically change to "In Progress". This feature only applies to external channel chat sessions (KakaoTalk, LINE, Naver), not to the MChat chat widget.
